Shirley Andersen

Who she is:

Shirley has been with us since Hearthstone opened in 2002 becoming the Activity director in 2007. She was raised in California, but has lived in Oregon for 25 years. Shirley was an avid volunteer in the schools during her child-raising years, and worked in the Homebound Ministry at her Church. As her son and daughter became independent, she excitedly joined the Hearthstone Staff and has a deep love and respect for our residents. Her other passions are crafting and quilting!

What she does:

Shirley and her amazing staff program interesting, challenging and helpful activities for residents, which include: concerts, guest performances, dancing, trips, exercise, crafts, Bingo, etc. In addition this department provides medical transportation for doctor's appointments and other personal resident needs.
